The Company is operating a fleet of modern, high quality tugs. Our fleet is able to provide towage, salvage and pollution control services on a continuous 24/7 basis, with the shortest possible response time focusing to detail, safety and excellence.
Through the years the Company has developed a network of sub-contractors, under pre-agreed terms for the provision of equipment and other emergency response services, in order to support and satisfy our clients’ requests worldwide.

OUR TEAM

Vernicos-Scafi Group, occupy experienced and specialized staff (naval architects, salvage master, qualified divers, riggers, fitters, pollution control), advisors trained for all situations. We are able to assist vessels of all types and sizes. Each year our crew provides towage services such as berthing, unberthing, stand-by and shifting services to thousands of vessels in all kinds of weather

Our company complies with the ISM Code having received recent certification in 2011 by Lloyd’s Register (LR).
Quality Policy, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) is applicable to all personnel involved in Company’s activities.
The Group is certified at the highest quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001.

AREAS OF OPERATION

Vernicos-Scafi provides safe and competitive services to vessels calling to Piraeus Central Port, Ikonio Port, Perama Port, Eleusis Central Port, HELPE Eleusis, HELPE Aspropyrgos, Pachi/Megara installations, HELPE Thessaloniki and LNG Terminal in Revithoussa,
The company also provides services to Lavrion and Mykonos Ports and Saudi Arabia.

Piraeus office: A dedicate fleet of tugs is based here, where also the headquarters and the operations office are based.
