MED TUGS assisted the Eisenhower nuclear-powered aircraft carrier

“Tugs ALEXANDER 3-CHRISTOS 42- CHRISTOS 42- CHRISTOS 33 and CHRISTOS 41 managed by MED TUGS, assisted the Eisenhower, the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier enter the naval base of Souda in Chania on March the 20th.

The 333-meter-long, 74-meter-high aircraft carrier with a crew of 5,600 and a carrying capacity of 90 fighter jets and helicopters was commissioned in 1977 and is the second of 10 US Navy Nimitz-class vessels.

Once again the US Navy has shown confidence to the capabilities of MED TUGS tugs and entrusted us with the relevant services of the giant aircraft carrier.
